Ecademy, Europe's Largest And Most Pervasive Social Network Announces A Networking Apprentice Competition To Support National Business Connection Month In May 2004

For Immediate Release

NEW YORK/EWORLDWIRE/May 3, 2004 --- Ecademy, Europe's largest and most pervasive social network, and award-winning master of value-based networking and best-selling author Melissa Giovagnoli, announce the second annual contest to find the top value-based networkers in the world, what Ecademy refers to as "Networlders". The contest runs through May, which Ecademy has dubbed National Business Connection Month.

This follows quickly on the back of Ecademy's ground breaking February 9, 2004 announcement with British Telecom in the UK, who are inviting 250,000 of their customers to join Ecademy, and a successful US launch in March 2004 ('http://us.ecademy.com').

The winners will be apprenticed by Giovagnoli and Thomas Power, Ecademy chairman, for three months. They will have the opportunity to connect with the other top value-based, world-class networkers to create transformational opportunities for themselves and their communities. These will be professionals who exhibit the values of collaboration, creativity, integrity and the desire to make a difference. Ecademy believes that people who hold these values are top networkers who "do well by doing good." In their manner they not only help themselves but also help their communities at the same time.

National Business Connection Month is the brainchild of Giovagnoli, who saw a need to find the top Networlders in order to bring them together to make better business happen faster. This is the mission of Networlding.

Contest rules are as follows:

1. Contest sign-up can be found at 'http://us.ecademy.com/node.php?title=Networking+Apprentice' or 'http://www.networlding.com'

2. An individual may nominate up to three people, self-nomination is permitted.

3. Nominees must have made $75,000 in revenues from networking in the last three years.

4. Reasons why each person is being nominated must be stated. The values that the nominees exhibit must include collaboration, creativity, integrity, and the desire to make a difference.

All entries must be sent by midnight, Monday, May 31, 2004. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, June 15, 2004.

Gordon Ebanks, Chairman of Ecademy US, said, "This is a perfect fit for Ecademy's 'Winning by Sharing' ethos"
