SILVER CITY, N.C./EWORLDWIRE/June 23, 2005 --- Pegasus Web Services, Inc. is creating the HyperDrive Modem(TM) with its patent-pending Digital Data Compression Method. This algorithm adds a third dimension to data transportation and storage(like storing/transporting parallel data on serial devices).The HyperDrive Digital Data Compression Method enables technologies such as a high volume modem/network connection technology, true real time video conferencing, interactive video on demand, virtual reality gaming and shopping malls,team-oriented real time tools, remote medical monitoring, high volume data storage, next generation computer buss, virtual real time simulators, interactive tours of homes or vacation resorts, real time video marketing, 3-D security and other applications requiring high-speed, high volume data delivery or storage.
The first application of the Digital Data Compression Method is the high volume modem. Two prototype modem boards are being developed to replace existing modems.
The first tests of the HyperDrive Modem include high volume data throughput connectivity tests including rapid download of music, video and multimedia over the secure HyperDrive Modem connection.
