Russian Rock Band Great Sorrow Donates Money To Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort

ST. PETERSBURG, Russia/EWORLDWIRE/Sep. 29, 2005 --- Andrey Lerman, the founder of Great Sorrow, today announced that the Russian rock band will donate all profits from their yet to be released song "Flames in the Dark" to Hurricane Katrina victims. The band will also donate all proceeds from their Saturday Oct. 1, 2005 performance in Saint Petersburg, Russia to Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. Great Sorrow will donate all their revenue to assist the victims of this great tragedy. Lerman says the money will be donated to the American Red Cross, which is dedicated to providing disaster assistance worldwide.
Great Sorrow also will be placing donation boxes at their concert, in an effort to encourage Russian citizens to donate money.
