New division targets emerging software companies with new software engineering services offering.

The new Software Engineering Services Division, based in Dallas, Texas will be headed up by Tamim Shipchandler, senior vice president of Cyber Group. Customer projects will involve resources from the Company’s corporate offices in Dallas and its Technology Development Center in Noida, India. According to the company, this coupling of software engineering project resources enables Cyber Group to deliver faster overall solutions due to a “virtual 24-hour day”, as well as leverage the lower cost structure available through its operations in India. The new Division’s engineering staff has a breadth of experience and skills that read on wide range of software maintenance, development and support platforms and architectures. The Division’s core engineering staff and rapid response team is in place. And, adding key members to the Division’s management team is in process.

The software engineering process encompasses development, code implementation, maintenance, enhancement, re-engineering and deployment. “Our research into our target market shows that emerging application software and service providers have a pressing business need for containing or reducing life-cycle software engineering costs," commented Shipchandler.
