About Barebrush and the N*des-of-the-Month The goal of Barebrush is to increase the public awareness, acceptance and appreciation of the art of the nude. Membership is free. No monthly charges. Artists list art for a nominal fee - $1/artwork for 60 days. Multiple curators look at the art. Artists win placement in the N*des-of-the-Month calendars. Art in the calendars becomes a permanent part of the history of Barebrush. Each of the artists selected for the calendar receives two (2) complimentary listings. Ten artists, indicated by asterisks (*), are nominated for the Curators Choice Awards. Curators Choice nominees receive eight (8) additional complimentary listings. The top three artists in each calendar receive additional prizes. Viewers vote for the Curators Choice nominees and also My Favorite N*de, the poll which includes all of the art in the calendar. The top three artists (in each calendar) in My Favorite N*de receive one (1) complimentary listing. The May & June calendars are in previews to members only.
