Richard S. "Dick" Miller, RS Electronics USA vice president of sales, is selected to serve on the Association of the United States Army's (AUSA) Advisory Board of Directors as a member of the Reserve Components Committee.

LIVONIA, Mich./EWORLDWIRE/June 23, 2010 --- Electronics USA Vice President of Sales, has been selected to serve for a three-year term on the Association of the United States Army's (AUSA) Advisory Board of Directors as a member of the Reserve Components Committee.

Miller, who is a brigadier general and deputy commanding general of the 38th Infantry Division, Indianapolis, Ind., has served the United States for almost 40 years. During that time, he has served as Commander RC South located in Kandahar, Afghanistan for Task Force Phoenix III. He commanded all embedded tactical trainers in Southern Afghanistan and was the senior advisor for the 205th Corps of the Afghan National Army. From August 2004 until August 2005, he served in Afghanistan .

General Miller has been the recipient of numerous awards and commendations, among them:

- The Bronze Star Medal
- The Meritorious Service Medal
- The Army Commendation Medal
- The Combat Infantry Badge

Miller also holds a bachelor of science degree in Public Affairs from Indiana University and a master's degree in Strategic Studies from the United States War College.
