Digital APP version of popular Robot-13 series takes top prize at Digital Book World Conference

BUTLER, N.J./EWORLDWIRE/Jan. 26, 2011 --- On January 24, attendees of the 2011 Digital Book World conference gathered to witness the first annual Digital Innovation Awards, honoring creative endeavors in the field of digital publishing. Among the categories included were Fiction, Non-Fiction, Reference, Childrens Literature and Comics.

Blacklist Studios' top-selling digital comic series, R-13, took first place in the Comics field. R-13 was released digitally by Robot Media as an app for Android and iPhone platforms and reached 200,000 plus downloads within a few weeks.

This is the first award for Robot 13 co-creators and Blacklist Studios' co-owners Thomas Hall and Daniel Bradford. R-13, their skull-headed robot with an irresistible instinct to battle mythological creatures, has met with international acclaim since the release of its first issue in 2009.
