OMAHA, Neb./EWORLDWIRE/Aug. 15, 2011 --- UAA Clearinghouse has obtained US Patent US7974882B1 effective July 5, 2011, for the purpose of creating a centralized national database of undeliverable names and addresses not available in the public domain.

UAA Clearinghouse has partnered with over 150 mailers to contribute their undeliverable as addressed data in exchange for a royalty. Today, their database includes over 50 million unique undeliverable records with 30 percent containing the new address. Direct mail companies will run their mailing list against the national database prior to postage and mail piece production. UAA Clearinghouse will flag those records that are undeliverable and charge a per-match fee that is a fraction of total postage and production cost, resulting in guaranteed savings for each record flagged. UAA Clearinghouse will also append the new address if requested.
